The National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a visionary and highly networked Head of Strategic Relations to drive our institutional engagement efforts. As a globally recognized institution, NUS sits at the intersection of innovation, education, and public policy. In this high-impact role, you will lead the development and execution of strategic partnerships, fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders, government bodies, industry leaders, and academic partners.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional diplomatic skills, a proven track record in high-level stakeholder management, and the ability to articulate the university’s mission on a global stage. You will act as a key liaison, navigating complex organizational environments to secure mutually beneficial opportunities that advance the university’s strategic objectives and enhance its international prestige.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic relations roadmap to expand NUS's influence and partnership network.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and international research institutions.
- Represent the university at high-level forums, networking events, and formal industry conferences.
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to ensure alignment between external engagement and internal academic priorities.
- Advise university leadership on trends in global education and partnership opportunities that offer significant growth potential.
- Lead advocacy initiatives that promote the university’s research contributions and institutional goals to public and private stakeholders.
- Manage high-stakes negotiations for MOUs, strategic alliances, and long-term funding or collaboration agreements.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s degree in Communications, International Relations, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in strategic relations, business development, or high-level government affairs.
- Deep understanding of the Singaporean higher education landscape and global academic networking.
- Proven ability to influence key decision-makers and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft high-level reports and proposals.
- Demonstrated experience in successful negotiation and formal partnership management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of cultural sensitivity and executive presence.
