Are you passionate about shaping the future of work? ByteDance is looking for a creative and driven Interior Design Project Intern to join our Workplace Design team in Singapore for our 2026 intake. As a member of the Space Process & Experience team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing high-impact office environments that reflect our fast-paced, innovative culture.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to bridge the gap between architectural design and operational efficiency. You will be exposed to large-scale workplace strategy, from conceptual space planning to the execution of unique, globally-aligned office standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the development of conceptual designs, mood boards, and space planning layouts for diverse office projects.
- Support the Workplace Design team in coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct site surveys and participate in project progress meetings to ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials, including 3D renders, architectural drawings, and material specifications.
- Participate in the evaluation of workplace usage and provide data-backed insights to improve employee experience.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, furniture specifications, and design tracking logs.
- Support the team in evolving global workplace standards to ensure consistency and functionality across regional offices.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent visual communication skills with an eye for detail, color, and ergonomic workspace functionality.
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced international work environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate conceptual designs into technical specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to collaborate effectively across cultures.
- Portfolio submission showcasing interior design or workplace design projects is highly preferred.
