We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ITS Security Service Desk Engineer to join the ConnectOS team. In this hybrid role, you will serve as the first line of defense for our technology infrastructure, bridging the gap between technical support and cybersecurity operations. You will demonstrate strong technical fundamentals, a security-first mindset, and excellent customer service skills to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
You will be responsible for monitoring system alerts, managing IT service requests, and responding to security incidents with precision. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and manage incoming IT support tickets via the Service Desk portal, prioritizing based on business impact and security severity.
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, ensuring rapid resolution to minimize downtime.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including endpoint protection, firewall configurations, and VPN access management.
- Conduct routine security patching and system updates to protect against known vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to escalate and investigate potential security threats.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and security procedures in the ticketing system to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Assist in user onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper access rights and security clearances.
Kualifikasi
- Strong technical fundamentals with a proven "security-first" mindset and understanding of basic IT security principles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and common office productivity software.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively and efficiently under pressure.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning in cybersecurity trends.
