Motion Media Works is seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior AV Crew to join our dynamic production team in the Central Region. This is an incredible opportunity for an aspiring technician to gain direct exposure to professional audiovisual workflows, large-scale event setups, and industry-standard equipment.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our event execution team, assisting with the physical assembly, operation, and maintenance of AV systems. Whether it is a corporate conference, live product launch, or large-scale exhibition, you will be on the front lines ensuring everything runs smoothly. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the physical setup, assembly, and dismantling of staging, trusses, and event furniture.
- Support the installation and troubleshooting of audiovisual hardware, including projectors, PA systems, and lighting rigs.
- Conduct basic cable management and equipment labeling to ensure organized and safe operational setups.
- Operate fundamental AV equipment under the guidance of senior technicians during live event execution.
- Perform pre-event checks and post-event inventory counts to ensure all gear is accounted for and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with the logistics and production team to ensure tight timelines are met for event load-ins and load-outs.
- Maintain a high standard of workplace safety and follow venue-specific guidelines during all operations.
Kualifikasi
- Possess at least a GCE 'O' Level, Nitec, or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience in events, warehouse operations, or technical theater is an advantage, though not strictly required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including moving equipment and working at heights.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot minor technical glitches under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate event schedules.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and production workflows.
