Tanggung Jawab
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and seminars in Islamic Finance, Islamic Banking, Takaful, and related subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop, review, and enhance curriculum and course materials to align with current industry standards and academic developments.
- Conduct high-quality, publishable research in Islamic finance and economics, targeting Scopus/WoS indexed journals.
- Supervise and mentor Master's and PhD candidates throughout their academic journey and research projects.
- Contribute to the administrative and operational duties of the Faculty of Business and Technology.
- Foster strong partnerships with industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and the community.
- Actively seek and manage external research grants and consultancy projects.
- Participate in academic conferences, seminars, and professional development activities to stay at the forefront of the field.
Kualifikasi
- A PhD in Islamic Finance, Islamic Economics, Shariah Law, or a closely related field from a reputable international university.
- For senior-level appointment: minimum of 5 years of teaching and research experience in higher education with a substantial publication record.
- Professional certification in Islamic finance (e.g., Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP), Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA)) is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, academic program management, or accreditation exercises.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
- Active membership in recognized international academic or professional bodies related to Islamic finance.
- Proven track record in securing research funding and industry collaborations.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or Arabic is a significant advantage.
