The License Assurance Manager is a senior individual contributor role who independently owns and drives software license compliance reviews across the organization. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for ensuring Sitecore remains compliant with global software licensing agreements while optimizing software asset management (SAM) processes to reduce costs and mitigate legal risks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align software procurement with business needs, ensuring that all software usage is tracked, validated, and reported accurately.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of enterprise software ecosystems, including Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, and Sitecore’s own technologies. You will also lead initiatives to educate stakeholders on best practices for software usage and compliance. By maintaining a rigorous audit schedule and fostering strong vendor relationships, you will safeguard the company’s reputation and ensure sustainable software spending. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead Software Asset Management (SAM) Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive SAM strategy tailored to Sitecore’s global footprint, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional compliance requirements.
- Conduct Compliance Audits: Perform independent internal and external audits to assess software inventory, usage, and adherence to licensing agreements to identify gaps or over-licensing.
- Vendor Negotiation: Manage relationships with software vendors to negotiate favorable licensing terms, renewals, and optimization opportunities to maximize budget efficiency.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential compliance risks, including software piracy and unauthorized usage, and implement corrective actions to minimize legal exposure.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate detailed, data-driven reports on license inventory, compliance status, and cost-saving initiatives for executive leadership and the board.
- Process Improvement: Streamline software procurement and deployment workflows to enhance transparency, efficiency, and audit readiness across the company.
- Stakeholder Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate IT teams and business units on software compliance best practices and SAM policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), License Assurance, or Compliance Auditing within a large enterprise or technology environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, and other major software licensing models (e.g., Enterprise Agreement, CAL, SaaS).
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple audits and strategic initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex compliance data to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using SAM tools and software asset management software (e.g., Flexera, Snowflake, ServiceNow).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in analyzing license entitlements versus actual usage data.
