Are you a skilled Lineman looking for a rewarding opportunity in one of the most scenic and vital energy hubs in the Philippines? PowerSource is currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Lineman to join our operations team based on Balut Island, Sarangani.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our distribution network. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient operation, installation, and preventative maintenance of distribution lines, ensuring that our community receives reliable energy. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution lines.
- Execute complex electrical tasks including pole climbing, wire stringing, and transformer installation in compliance with safety standards.
- Operate and maintain specialized test equipment to diagnose line faults and electrical inefficiencies.
- Respond promptly to emergency power outages and perform restorative work under varying weather conditions.
- Ensure all activities adhere to the Philippine Electrical Code and company-specific health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with local technical teams to optimize grid reliability and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports regarding maintenance activities, equipment usage, and materials consumed.
Kualifikasi
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Lineman or similar electrical distribution role.
- Possession of a valid TESDA National Certificate (NC II or higher) in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
- Strong understanding of high-voltage distribution systems and electrical safety protocols.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at significant heights and in challenging outdoor environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Must be willing to be stationed and reside on Balut Island, Sarangani.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a team during critical repair tasks.
