The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking a highly disciplined and experienced professional to join our security team as a Local Guard Shift Supervisor based in Surabaya. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative oversight of guard force personnel assigned to U.S. government facilities and official leased residences. You will act as the primary point of contact for shift-related security incidents, ensuring that all protection protocols are strictly followed to maintain the safety and integrity of diplomatic personnel and property.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, impeccable integrity, and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations. You will lead a diverse team of security professionals, conduct regular training, perform inspections, and coordinate with regional security officers to mitigate potential risks. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise daily operations of the guard force to ensure the security and protection of U.S. government facilities and assets.
- Direct shift briefings, assign guard posts, and ensure all security personnel are compliant with standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular patrols and site inspections to identify potential security vulnerabilities and ensure facility compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports, incident logs, and administrative documentation for Embassy leadership.
- Provide emergency response coordination and act as the on-scene lead during security-related incidents or medical emergencies.
- Mentor and coach junior guard staff on defensive tactics, access control, and visitor screening protocols.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with the Regional Security Office and local law enforcement agencies.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience in security management, military leadership, or law enforcement (minimum 3-5 years).
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a high-level security clearance as required by U.S. diplomatic standards.
- Advanced proficiency in access control, threat assessment, and crisis management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in high-stakes environments.
- Physical fitness to perform duties including long periods of standing, patrolling, and emergency physical response.
- Proficiency in basic office software (MS Office suite) for administrative reporting and communication.
