We are looking for a visionary and data-driven leader to join us as Manager, Data Analytics - Mobility Strategy (Marketplace) based in our Pasig City office.

In this critical role, you will harness the power of data to create a sustainable, reliable, and hyper-efficient marketplace for Grab's transport business. You will lead a high-performing analytics team, decomposing complex marketplace dynamics into clear, actionable insights. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions on pricing, supply-demand management, and driver incentives, shaping the experience for millions of users across the region.

You will own the analytics roadmap for the Mobility marketplace. This includes driving the strategy for A/B testing, building foundational data assets, and developing predictive models to optimize marketplace health. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Regional Strategy teams to ensure that data is at the heart of every decision. Your ability to connect data to business strategy will be key, as you translate analytical findings into compelling narratives that resonate with senior leadership.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Lead and manage the Data Analytics team supporting the Mobility Strategy and Marketplace verticals, fostering a culture of excellence and data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics roadmap to optimize marketplace health, focusing on supply-demand balance, pricing elasticity, and driver/rider lifetime value.
  • Design, analyze, and operationalize A/B tests and causal inference models to measure the impact of product and strategy changes on core marketplace KPIs.
  • Build interactive dashboards and automated reports (using Tableau, Looker, or similar) to provide real-time visibility into marketplace performance for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify data requirements, improve data quality, and build data products that unlock new analytical capabilities.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand user behavior, driver economics, and competitive landscape, identifying key levers for growth and efficiency.
  • Present complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly and persuasively to senior leadership, influencing the direction of the Mobility business.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a team leadership or management role.
  • Excellent SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and model building.
  • Proven experience in a two-sided marketplace environment (e.g., ride-hailing, e-commerce, food delivery, advertising) is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of experimental design (A/B testing) and statistical methods (regression, clustering, time series).
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing strategic decisions through data.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hive, Airflow) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
