- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced market modelling frameworks to support AboitizPower’s commercial strategies.
- Analyze market trends, price forecasts, and supply-demand dynamics to provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Oversee the collection, validation, and cleaning of large datasets from various internal and external sources.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including trading, generation, and finance to align analytics with business objectives.
- Present complex analytical findings and market scenarios to executive leadership in clear, compelling formats.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the analytics workflow.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in market analytics, energy economics, or financial modelling.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Deep understanding of the Philippine power market, energy trading mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and mentoring junior analysts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
