Tanggung Jawab
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine material requirements and structural specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape materials like bricks, stones, and concrete blocks according to project plans
- Construct and repair walls, walkways, foundations, and other masonry structures ensuring precision and alignment
- Mix and apply mortar to bind materials and ensure structural integrity
- Inspect completed work for quality, compliance with building codes, and aesthetic standards
- Operate and maintain specialized masonry tools including trowels, levels, and saws
- Collaborate with carpenters, engineers, and other tradespeople to coordinate construction timelines
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in masonry preferred
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in commercial/residential masonry work
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of various masonry materials (brick, stone, concrete) and techniques
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in outdoor conditions
- Ability to use precision tools (levels, transits, masonry saws) with accuracy
- Understanding of local building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
