The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is seeking a highly skilled National Consultant to support our Low-GI Rice Project. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop comprehensive, practical training guides and knowledge materials for the Low-GI Rice Project
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of training content
- Create engaging visual aids, presentations, and supplementary materials to enhance learning outcomes
- Conduct field testing and gather feedback from target beneficiaries to refine training materials
- Adapt training content to different audiences, including farmers, extension workers, and policymakers
- Ensure all materials are culturally appropriate and accessible to diverse stakeholders
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in low-glycemic index rice cultivation
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities to assess the impact of training materials
Kualifikasi
- Master's degree in Agriculture, Education, Communication, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in developing training materials and educational content
- Strong background in agricultural development, preferably with rice farming systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and local languages
- Experience working with farmers and rural communities in the Philippines
- Proficiency in graphic design, multimedia production, or content development tools
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into accessible content
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and participatory training methodologies
