Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of autism spectrum individuals to identify occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans focusing on daily living skills and sensory integration
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists and psychologists
- Provide direct therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills, adaptive behaviors, and social interactions
- Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques for home environments
- Document client progress and modify treatment plans based on developmental milestones
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise autism awareness
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with Malaysian Board registration
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with autism spectrum disorder populations
- Advanced certification in Sensory Integration Therapy or DIR/Floortime approach
- Strong assessment skills using standardized tools (e.g., COPM, BOT-2)
- Experience creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Empathetic communication style with neurodiverse populations
