Tanggung Jawab
- Assist oral surgeons during complex surgical procedures including extractions, implants, and corrective jaw surgeries
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and specialized dental equipment
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) for surgical planning
- Provide post-operative care instructions and monitor patient recovery progress
- Manage inventory of surgical supplies and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Document patient procedures accurately in electronic dental records systems
- Coordinate patient flow between consultation, surgery, and recovery areas
Kualifikasi
- Certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting or equivalent clinical certification
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in dental surgical assistance
- Current CPR/BLS certification and knowledge of emergency protocols
- Proficiency with dental radiography equipment and digital imaging software
- Strong understanding of infection control standards and OSHA compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to calm anxious patients
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
