In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories. You will be responsible for managing the front counter, assisting walk-in clients, and handling telephone inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle parts and inventory systems. You will ensure that every customer receives the correct parts for their vehicle or equipment, while maintaining accurate sales records and inventory levels. Tanggung Jawab
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service for all in-store and telephone inquiries.
- Identify and recommend the correct automotive parts, components, and accessories using catalogs and technical knowledge.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and warehouse area.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment to prevent shortages.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and mechanics to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims according to company policies.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive mechanics is a plus.
- Previous experience working as a Parts Counterperson or in automotive retail is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, parts numbering, and catalogs.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and POS system usage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
