In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the seamless management of our parts inventory, ensuring that our workshop operations run without interruption due to stock shortages. You will act as the bridge between our warehouse operations and our suppliers, optimizing supply chains to maintain high service levels for our clients.
As a Parts Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day functions of the parts department, ensuring that all stock is accurately tracked, safely stored, and readily available for our technicians. You will lead a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all tasks. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily inventory management, including receiving, storing, and issuing of truck parts and accessories.
- Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
- Analyze stock levels and sales data to forecast demand and prevent stockouts.
- Manage and mentor a team of parts attendants, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and reconcile discrepancies.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize cost savings for the company.
- Ensure the parts warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Parts Supervisor or Inventory Control role within the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of truck parts, engines, and automotive systems.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or computerized systems (e.g., SAP, Excel).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors and internal staff.
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed for workshop operations.
