Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Assist the culinary team in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and ingredient inventory management.
- Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering raw materials to ensure smooth production flow.
- Develop new seasonal pastry offerings to keep our menu fresh and competitive.
- Coordinate with the front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during peak hours.
- Maintain equipment performance by reporting maintenance needs and ensuring proper usage.
Kualifikasi
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or pastry environment.
- Formal certification in Culinary Arts or Baking & Pastry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and workplace health and safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for baking and a creative approach to pastry decoration and presentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
