About the Role:

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing venipunctures and other blood collection procedures with precision and efficiency. You will interact directly with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipunctures and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and handling of blood specimens according to laboratory protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of samples.
• Assist in inventory management of phlebotomy supplies.

Qualifications:

• Certificate in Phlebotomy or related medical field.
• Valid Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) license or certification (if applicable in region).
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or diagnostic setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
