Tanggung Jawab
- Operate various plastic welding equipment (e.g., hot air, extrusion, or ultrasonic welding) to join plastic parts according to technical drawings.
- Inspect raw materials and finished components to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine appropriate welding techniques.
- Maintain equipment in optimal working condition by performing routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Prepare plastic surfaces by cleaning, cutting, and grinding to ensure high-strength, leak-proof joints.
- Monitor production output and report any defects or inconsistencies to the production supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety (OSH) regulations and environmental policies.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM or Vocational Certificate in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven work experience as a plastic welder or in a similar manufacturing fabrication role.
- Strong understanding of plastic materials (e.g., PVC, HDPE, PP) and their melting properties.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and precision measurement tools.
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle extended periods of standing and precision work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a high-performing team.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
