- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels.
- Conduct engaging part-time classes that focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive, personalized feedback.
- Incorporate cultural nuances into lessons to provide a holistic understanding of the Portuguese-speaking world.
- Prepare students for official language examinations, such as the CAPLE or equivalent proficiency tests.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and curriculum progression.
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
Kualifikasi
- Fluency in Portuguese (native or C1/C2 proficiency level) is mandatory.
- Previous teaching experience in a language school, private tutoring, or educational institution.
- A degree in Education, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field (or equivalent certification).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse students.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom and adapt teaching styles to individual learning needs.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity, with a deep understanding of Lusophone cultures.
