- Plan and deliver engaging, high-impact Science lessons tailored to Primary school students focusing on Olympiad-level content.
- Develop innovative teaching materials and assessment tools that challenge students' critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
- Provide detailed feedback and progress reports to parents, maintaining high standards of communication.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive and focused learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest Science Olympiad syllabi and competitive examination trends in Singapore.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify student strengths and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate small group sessions to provide personalized coaching and enrichment for high-ability students.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or a related Education field from a recognized university.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, specifically in Primary Science or Olympiad training.
- Proven ability to break down complex abstract concepts into simple, understandable modules.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Passionate about STEM education and dedicated to student growth and academic success.
- Patient, energetic, and adaptable to different learning paces and styles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple student groups effectively.
