Uni-President, a recognized leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a talented Product Commodity Manager to drive our coffee commodity sourcing and management functions. As the Product Commodity Manager for Coffee, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans that ensure a reliable, high-quality supply of coffee beans at optimal costs. You will conduct thorough market analysis to anticipate price trends, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate potential risks. Collaboration is key; you will partner with internal stakeholders across marketing, production, and logistics to forecast demand, manage inventory, and align commodity strategies with business goals. Your insights will directly influence product quality and profitability.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a robust background in commodity management, ideally within the coffee or agricultural sector. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field; at least 5 years of relevant experience; and a proven track record in negotiation and vendor management. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and knowledge of coffee grading and trading are essential. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

- Develop and execute comprehensive commodity sourcing strategies for coffee products.
- Monitor global coffee market trends, pricing, and supply dynamics to inform decision-making.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, sustainability, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams to forecast demand and align procurement plans.
- Optimize inventory levels and implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, trade policies, and best practices in commodity management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commodity management, preferably in coffee or food ingredients.
- Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical and market research capabilities with attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of global coffee trade, including grading, processing, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
