Tanggung Jawab
- Develop innovative design concepts for new consumer product lines, from initial sketching to final production specs.
- Create detailed 3D models and high-fidelity prototypes to validate form, fit, and function.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and marketing teams to ensure designs meet user needs and business objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify design trends and opportunities for innovation.
- Oversee the refinement of prototypes based on performance testing and user feedback.
- Manage material selection, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality or sustainability.
- Prepare technical documentation and design packages for manufacturing partners.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in consumer product development or a similar creative role.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, die casting, and assembly.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design intent to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- A robust portfolio showcasing successful consumer product projects and technical design capabilities.
