Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, and artisanal baked goods according to company recipes.
- Monitor oven temperatures and proofing times to ensure consistent product quality and texture.
- Manage inventory levels of baking ingredients and notify management of restocking needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations (NEA standards).
- Perform equipment maintenance and cleaning for mixers, ovens, and proofers.
- Assist in the development of new seasonal recipes and menu items to keep our offerings exciting.
- Ensure timely production cycles to meet daily storefront demands.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Baker or Apprentice Baker in a commercial kitchen or bakery environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and ingredient properties.
- High attention to detail, especially regarding measurements and visual presentation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy sacks of flour or ingredients (up to 20kg).
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-morning environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles (a valid Food Safety Course certificate is a plus).
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a close-knit team.
