Tanggung Jawab
- Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensure the secure loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, preventing damage during transit.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries across various locations in Singapore.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and vehicle documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all local and national transport regulations, including rest periods and cargo weight limits.
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance tasks as required, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 or Class 5 driving license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Lorry Driver or HGV Driver in Singapore.
- Familiarity with Singapore road networks and traffic regulations.
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety standards and load securing procedures.
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role, including occasional heavy lifting.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
