The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is inviting qualified professionals to apply for the position of Project Development Officer II in the vibrant region of Central Visayas. In this critical role, you will serve as a bridge between the national government and local communities, working closely with Local Government Unit (LGU) partners to implement vital social protection programs.
Under the direct supervision of the Provincial Link, your primary focus will be on facilitating Family Development Sessions (FDS). These sessions are essential for strengthening family bonds, enhancing parenting skills, and promoting overall well-being. You will be responsible for monitoring project implementation, preparing detailed progress reports, and ensuring that community development interventions align with national standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Facilitate Family Development Sessions (FDS) with LGU partners and parents to promote family well-being.
- Coordinate closely with Local Government Unit (LGU) links to ensure smooth program implementation.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of community-based projects and social welfare interventions.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, activity logs, and documentation to the Provincial Link.
- Conduct community profiling and needs assessment to identify vulnerable sectors.
- Mobilize communities and organize awareness campaigns regarding social protection programs.
- Ensure strict compliance with DSWD policies, guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Assist in the procurement and distribution of social welfare assistance to target beneficiaries.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in community development, social welfare, or project management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse community groups.
- Familiarity with the structure and operations of Local Government Units (LGUs).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic data management systems.
- Willingness to travel within the region for field visits and community engagements.
