Join the leading heavy machinery manufacturer in Malaysia! SANY Malaysia is currently recruiting a skilled Quay Crane Mechanic to ensure our high-performance equipment operates at peak efficiency. As a key member of our technical service team, you will play a crucial role in the lifecycle management of our quay cranes, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of port operations.
Your day-to-day will involve complex diagnostics, precise repairs, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Beyond the workshop, you will act as a technical ambassador, traveling to client sites to assist with new equipment installations and providing comprehensive training to operators. You will also manage spare parts logistics and gather critical feedback to help us refine our product quality. We are looking for a hands-on professional who thrives in an industrial setting and is committed to safety and excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine maintenance and scheduled inspections on quay cranes and related heavy equipment.
- Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Assist in the on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of new quay crane units.
- Conduct operator training sessions, covering equipment usage, safety procedures, and basic maintenance.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate the supply of components to clients.
- Provide technical support and remote troubleshooting assistance to customers.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report equipment performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance department to implement process improvements.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Crane Mechanic or in heavy machinery maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and pneumatic controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals.
- Valid Malaysian trade certificate (e.g., Register Mechanical Engineer) is highly preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor environments and at heights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train non-technical personnel.
- Valid Class D or E Driver’s License.
