Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and optimize new formulations for hair care, skin care, and other beauty products, ensuring alignment with brand vision and market trends.
- Conduct thorough laboratory experiments, stability testing, and performance evaluations of raw materials and finished products.
- Source, evaluate, and qualify new ingredients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and sustainability goals.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and manufacturing teams to transition products from concept to successful commercial launch.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks, formulation records, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements in cosmetic chemistry and formulation.
- Troubleshoot formulation challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions for product improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D processes and laboratory best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in R&D formulation within the cosmetics, personal care, or beauty industry.
- Proven expertise in formulating a variety of product types (e.g., emulsions, gels, surfactants, powders).
- Strong understanding of raw material functionality, cosmetic regulations (e.g., BPOM, ASEAN Cosmetics Directive), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a creative approach to product development challenges.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment relevant to cosmetic formulation and testing.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
