Your primary focus will be on promoting and delivering safe, timely, and efficient ground handling services. You will be responsible for operating all ground equipment, including baggage tugs and belt loaders, and executing loading and unloading procedures. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate ground support equipment, such as baggage tugs, belt loaders, and forklifts, to ensure efficient aircraft turnaround and load/unload luggage and cargo.
- Direct aircraft taxiing movements using hand signals or communication devices to ensure safe operations on the apron.
- Inspect aircraft cargo holds and baggage compartments to ensure they are secure, clean, and free of hazards before flight departure.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including boarding and disembarking wheelchair assistance when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, emergency procedures, and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, reporting any maintenance issues with ground equipment promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with other ground staff and flight crews to ensure seamless operations.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of SPM (Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent qualification.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 20kg) repeatedly.
- Previous experience in ground handling, logistics, or the aviation industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
- Valid medical certificate and willingness to undergo a background check.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
