Malaysia Aviation Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Ramp Agent to join our dynamic team at Langkawi International Airport. As a vital part of our ground operations, you will be responsible for promoting and delivering safe, timely, and efficient ground handling services. In this role, you will ensure that aircraft are serviced to the highest standards, supporting seamless travel experiences for passengers and cargo flow. Your primary focus will be on operating various ground support equipment and assisting with the loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail. You will work closely with the flight crew and ground operations team to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and turnaround times. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft and ground support equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate ground support equipment, including baggage tugs, belt loaders, and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of passenger baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft.
- Communicate effectively with the flight crew, air traffic control, and ground operations staff using two-way radios.
- Ensure the ramp area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Handle irregularities or discrepancies in baggage manifests immediately and report them to supervisors.
- Support the overall turnaround process to ensure aircraft depart on schedule.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Malaysian driving license is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic English communication skills (both verbal and written) are preferred.
- Previous experience in ground handling or aviation is a plus but not strictly required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
