Are you a cybersecurity enthusiast looking to push the boundaries of offensive security? ByteDance is seeking a highly motivated Red Team Engineer Project Intern to join our world-class security infrastructure team in Singapore. In this role, you will work alongside industry-leading security researchers to identify vulnerabilities, simulate advanced persistent threats, and build robust defense mechanisms that protect our global ecosystem.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct controlled adversary emulation exercises to identify security gaps in complex distributed systems.
- Develop custom security automation tools and scripts to streamline red team workflows.
- Analyze and research the latest exploit vectors and emerging security threats relevant to our platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simulate real-world attack scenarios and test incident response capabilities.
- Participate in deep-dive security assessments of internal infrastructure and proprietary technologies.
- Document findings and provide actionable insights to improve system hardening and security controls.
- Assist in the design and development of innovative offensive security methodologies.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid foundation in network protocols, operating system internals (Linux/Windows), and cloud security concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, C++, or Rust.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for identifying security vulnerabilities in complex architectures.
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks and penetration testing methodologies (e.g., OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for a duration of at least 3-6 months.
