The successful candidate will be at the forefront of developing sustainable electro-organic synthetic methodologies, contributing to the advancement of green chemistry and energy-efficient processes.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that combine electrochemistry with organic synthesis to create novel reactions and functional molecules. Our research focuses include the development of electrochemical carbon–carbon and carbon–heteroatom bond formation, C–H functionalization, and the valorization of renewable biomass-derived platform chemicals. The candidate will have access to state-of-the-art facilities including advanced electrochemical workstations, gloveboxes, high-field NMR, mass spectrometry, HPLC, and GC-MS. You will collaborate with a network of international researchers from academia and industry, providing a stimulating environment for scientific growth and cross-disciplinary learning.

Key responsibilities will include designing and executing experiments, optimizing reaction conditions through systematic parameter screening, characterizing products using a range of analytical techniques, and interpreting data with appropriate statistical tools. You will prepare manuscripts for top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences. Additionally, you will help supervise graduate and undergraduate students, contribute to laboratory management, and engage in collaborative grant preparation.
