Join Gothong Southern Shipping's leadership team as our Safety and Security Department Manager, where you'll be instrumental in safeguarding our operations, personnel, and assets. This critical role requires you to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety, security, environmental, and health programs across the organization. Your strategic leadership will ensure full regulatory compliance, mitigate operational risks, and build organizational resilience in the dynamic maritime industry.
You will champion a culture of safety excellence by establishing robust protocols, conducting risk assessments, and leading incident investigations. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement company-wide safety, security, environmental, and health programs aligned with international standards
- Lead risk management initiatives through hazard assessments, audits, and compliance monitoring
- Manage emergency response protocols and business continuity planning
- Oversee regulatory compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and maritime safety regulations
- Direct department staff through training, performance evaluation, and resource allocation
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective/preventive action plans
- Prepare safety performance reports for executive leadership review
- Coordinate with external agencies during safety audits and inspections
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in safety/security management, preferably in maritime/shipping industry
- Professional certification (CSP, NEBOSH, or equivalent safety qualification)
- Expert knowledge of OSHA standards, ISO 45001, and maritime safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management experience
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience developing safety management systems and documentation
- Valid first aid and emergency response certification
