Join The Store as a Security Guard at our Pacific Komtar location in George Town, Penang. As a frontline protector of our retail environment, you'll safeguard customers, employees, and company assets while maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and quick decision-making to handle various scenarios including customer assistance, incident prevention, and emergency response.

You'll patrol high-traffic areas, monitor surveillance systems, and enforce access controls while representing The Store's commitment to security and customer service. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor premises via CCTV and foot patrols to detect suspicious activity
- Control access points and verify visitor identification
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain security logs
- Assist customers and staff with safety-related inquiries
- Collaborate with law enforcement during investigations
- Operate security systems including alarms and access controls
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance reports
Kualifikasi
- Valid Malaysian Security Guard License (Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia)
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent
- Basic first aid certification
- Minimum 1 year security or customer service experience
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm during emergency situations
- Physical fitness for standing patrols
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English
