In this pivotal role, you will utilize your deep analytical expertise to safeguard our marketplace, reduce financial risk, and enhance the trust of our millions of users across 16 global markets.
As a key member of our analytics team, you will move beyond standard reporting to develop sophisticated fraud detection models and strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding engineering, product, and operationsâto translate complex data patterns into actionable business intelligence. Your insights will directly influence policy changes, system architecture, and the overall customer experience, ensuring a safe and seamless environment for both riders and merchants.
Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze massive volumes of transactional and behavioral data to identify anomalies, detect fraud patterns, and assess risk exposure.
- Design, develop, and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms to automate fraud detection and prevention.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate fraud detection systems into production environments and improve real-time decisioning.
- Produce clear, data-driven visualizations and executive dashboards to communicate fraud trends, system performance, and impact to stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of new fraud prevention controls and optimization strategies.
- Define and refine fraud policies, working closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the technical roadmap of the data science team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, fraud detection, risk management, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) for advanced analytics.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to create compelling insights reports.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven track record of translating data into strategic business recommendations.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume e-commerce or gig-economy environment is highly desirable.
