Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical database systems across all BINUS Business Units/Divisions.
- Establish and manage comprehensive database monitoring, performance tuning, and evaluation frameworks to ensure optimal operation and resource utilization.
- Develop, implement, and enforce robust data security policies, as well as comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex database-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of critical systems.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, system administrators, and other IT stakeholders to optimize database schema design and query performance.
- Provide expert guidance, mentorship, and technical support to junior database administrators and IT support staff.
- Maintain thorough documentation of database architecture, configurations, operational procedures, and incident resolution.
- Stay abreast of emerging database technologies and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements where appropriate.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in database administration, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead DBA capacity.
- Proven expertise with major relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
- Strong command of SQL, including advanced query optimization, stored procedures, and schema design.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation of database tasks.
- Solid understanding of database security principles, data encryption, access controls, and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing database high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
