Join Singapore Children's Society as a Social Worker/Counsellor in Yishun and make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. As a key member of our Yishun Family Service team, you will be at the forefront of supporting children and families facing various challenges, including domestic violence, neglect, and behavioral issues. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide consistent and purposeful casework management for cases with multiple needs and safety risks
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' situations and develop appropriate intervention plans
- Deliver counseling services to children, youth, and families facing various challenges
- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic support for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records and documentation
- Develop and implement preventive programs to address social issues in the community
- Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations
- Conduct home visits and follow-up sessions to monitor client progress
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Social Work or related field with professional qualification in social work
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social work or counseling
- Certification in counseling or family therapy is preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills with diverse client populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of relevant social services and community resources
- Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with vulnerable populations
