Are you a technical expert with a passion for live production and events? Politeknik Internasional Bali is seeking a skilled Sound and Lighting Manager to join our dynamic team in Tabanan. In this role, you will be the technical lead responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of all audio-visual systems across our campus.
As our Sound and Lighting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that both academic events and extracurricular activities are delivered with professional-grade production quality. You will be expected to maintain our technical infrastructure, troubleshoot equipment during high-pressure scenarios, and mentor students or junior staff interested in media production. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the design, setup, and operation of sound reinforcement and lighting systems for academic seminars, workshops, and campus events.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and safety checks on all audio, visual, and lighting (AVL) equipment.
- Coordinate with event committees to understand production requirements and provide technical solutions that meet event objectives.
- Operate professional mixing consoles, lighting desks, and digital signal processors during live sessions.
- Manage the inventory of technical assets, including cables, microphones, spotlights, and peripheral hardware.
- Troubleshoot technical failures in real-time to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Develop training schedules and provide technical guidance for student clubs or staff using the facilities.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in event technology to suggest upgrades and improvements for the campus infrastructure.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineering, Broadcasting, Sound Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in sound and lighting operations or event production.
- Strong technical proficiency with professional audio mixers (e.g., Yamaha, Behringer) and DMX lighting consoles.
- Knowledge of signal flow, electrical safety, and basic rigging practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on the campus event schedule.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage technical teams and interact with diverse event stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under the pressure of live environments.
