Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique learning needs of students.
- Deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the school's curriculum frameworks while catering to diverse learning abilities.
- Collaborate with therapists, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through systematic observation, data collection, and regular reporting.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and evidence-based interventions.
- Participate actively in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide events.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Relevant certification or Diploma in Special Education (DISE) is highly preferred.
- Previous experience working with students with special needs is strongly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to be patient, adaptable, and creative in problem-solving.
- Understanding of the Singapore Special Education curriculum and relevant legislative frameworks.
