Tanglin Trust School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant (Enhanced Provision) to join our vibrant Infant School team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with students who require additional support to access the curriculum, ensuring every child feels empowered, included, and inspired to reach their full potential.
As part of our Enhanced Provision department, you will collaborate with specialist teachers and external professionals to implement tailored educational plans. We are looking for an individual who is not only skilled in educational support but also deeply committed to fostering a nurturing environment that celebrates neurodiversity and individual growth.

Tanggung Jawab
- Provide high-quality 1:1 and small group support to students within the Enhanced Provision framework.
- Collaborate with class teachers to adapt learning materials and differentiate tasks for diverse learner needs.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress through detailed observation and documentation.
- Support students with social, emotional, and communication development in classroom and playground settings.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of specialist resources to create an inclusive sensory-friendly environment.
- Maintain proactive communication with parents, safeguarding the well-being and holistic development of every child.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to review student support strategies.
Kualifikasi
- A relevant qualification in Education, Special Educational Needs (SEN), or Early Childhood Development.
- Proven experience working in an educational setting, preferably within an inclusive or SEN capacity.
- In-depth understanding of pedagogical approaches for supporting students with learning differences.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with children, staff, and families.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive educational practices.
- Familiarity with British Curriculum standards is highly desirable.
