We are inviting qualified individuals to join the Provincial Government of La Union as a Statistician I. In this role, you will serve as a vital asset to our data-driven decision-making processes, helping to shape public policies through rigorous analysis and research. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about using statistics to improve the quality of life for the residents of Ilocos Region.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a stable government environment where your analytical skills will directly contribute to the development and planning of provincial programs. You will collaborate with various departments to interpret complex data sets and present findings that drive strategic initiatives.
Tanggung Jawab
- Collect, compile, and analyze statistical data from diverse sources to support government planning and research.
- Design, develop, and implement statistical surveys and studies to assess the effectiveness of current programs.
- Prepare and present clear, comprehensive statistical reports and visualizations for stakeholders and government officials.
- Utilize statistical software such as SPSS, R, SAS, or advanced Excel functions to interpret complex datasets.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify data gaps and recommend evidence-based solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of research findings, data sets, and analysis methodologies.
- Assist in the formulation of policies by providing quantitative insights and trend analysis.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, or Python).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts and findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with government reporting standards and procedures is highly preferred.
- Willingness to work in San Fernando City, Ilocos Region.
