The Job
As a Store Clerk, you are the heart of our store operations. You will be responsible for delivering the best possible shopping experience to our customers. This involves everything from operating the cash register and assisting customers on the sales floor to ensuring our shelves are fully stocked and our store is clean and inviting. Tanggung Jawab
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing cash, card, and e-wallet transactions.
- Stock shelves and displays, ensuring products are neatly arranged and well-stocked at all times.
- Conduct regular shelf price checks and update pricing labels as necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, backroom, and storage areas.
- Receive incoming stock deliveries, verify quantities against invoices, and organize inventory in the store room.
- Participate in periodic stock takes and inventory audits.
- Uphold company policies on loss prevention, safety, and security procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM / O-Level or equivalent formal education.
- Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service is highly valued but not essential (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Proficient in basic mathematics for cash handling.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
- Customer-centric mindset with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Physically capable of standing for long shifts and performing moderate lifting (e.g., restocking goods).
- Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
