We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor for Deforestation Mitigation to lead our environmental conservation efforts in Kalimantan Selatan. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise field monitoring teams to detect and report unauthorized land-clearing activities.
- Implement and monitor adherence to sustainable forest management practices and environmental compliance protocols.
- Develop and execute comprehensive deforestation mitigation plans based on field surveillance and data analysis.
- Coordinate with local communities to promote conservation awareness and sustainable livelihood alternatives.
- Manage field reports and document biodiversity metrics to track the success of mitigation strategies.
- Maintain operational equipment and ensure the safety of all team members during field patrols.
- Collaborate with governmental and non-governmental bodies to support regional environmental conservation initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in conservation, forest management, or environmental compliance, preferably in Indonesia.
- Proven leadership experience in managing field teams in remote or rural locations.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian forestry regulations and environmental protection laws.
- Proficiency in GIS/GPS tools for mapping and monitoring forest cover changes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse local stakeholders.
- Ability to work in demanding field environments with a high degree of independence and integrity.
