IOI City Mall Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Supervisor - Plumbing to join our Facilities Management team. In this pivotal position, you will be the technical lead responsible for overseeing all plumbing and pump-related works within the mall. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of water systems, drainage, and pumping machinery, maintaining the comfort and safety of our shoppers and tenants. As a Supervisor, you will not only execute complex maintenance tasks but also mentor and guide a team of technicians. You will be expected to manage daily work schedules, conduct rigorous safety inspections, and ensure all repairs comply with strict building regulations and safety codes. Additionally, you will coordinate with external contractors for specialized installations and manage the inventory of critical plumbing materials. In the event of emergencies, such as water leaks or pump failures, you will be the first point of contact to coordinate swift resolution. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and oversee all daily plumbing operations, maintenance schedules, and repair activities within the mall.
- Conduct regular inspections of water supply systems, drainage networks, and pumping machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of junior technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized plumbing installations and emergency services.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with local safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Manage inventory levels of plumbing materials, tools, and safety equipment to prevent operational delays.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and service calls to minimize impact on mall operations.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Certificate in Plumbing / City & Guilds or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within building services or mall management.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, sanitary ware, and pump maintenance protocols.
- Valid trade license and WSIB (or relevant local authority) certification.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts as required.
- Physically fit and capable of working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
