As a Supervisory Business Associate, you will be a key driver of our control environment, protecting the firm's reputation while enabling our business to grow responsibly.
In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a dynamic surveillance team. You will be responsible for supervising the review of complex alerts, managing escalations, and ensuring strict adherence to global regulatory standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our supervisory scenarios and fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization. You will work closely with Compliance, Legal, and the Lines of Business to investigate potential regulatory breaches and implement robust corrective actions.

Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise the daily operations of the electronic communications surveillance function, ensuring timely and accurate review of alerts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, driving a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Lines of Business to investigate and escalate potential regulatory breaches and policy violations.
- Manage and enhance surveillance scenarios, typologies, and tuning parameters to address emerging risks and regulatory expectations.
- Prepare and present comprehensive management reporting and metrics on surveillance activities, control effectiveness, and risk trends.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and automation to increase operational efficiency and control rigor.
- Participate in regional and global projects related to regulatory change management, system implementations, and exam management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services compliance, surveillance, or operational risk management.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity, with strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products, trading markets, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA, BSP, HKMA, MAS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders and global teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with surveillance platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Smarsh, NICE, Relativity) is highly desired.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly regulated environment with a strong sense of ownership and integrity.
