Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) is seeking a meticulous Technician for Simulator Maintenance to join our prestigious MAB Academy in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our flight training operations, ensuring that our Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) meet the highest global safety and performance standards.
As part of the MAG team, you will work on state-of-the-art simulation equipment, supporting the next generation of pilots. You will be responsible for the technical integrity of complex hardware and software systems, performing scheduled preventative maintenance, and conducting rapid troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) to ensure 100% operational readiness.
- Execute complex hardware and software troubleshooting to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
- Monitor simulator performance and calibrate visual, motion, and control loading systems.
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs in compliance with civil aviation regulatory requirements and MAB Academy standards.
- Coordinate with simulator instructors and stakeholders to address technical issues affecting training schedules.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and occupational health standards are strictly followed during technical interventions.
- Support the installation and integration of software updates and hardware upgrades as directed by the technical management team.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, industrial maintenance, or simulator/avionics systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and engineering blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in PLC systems, motion control systems, or high-end computing hardware.
- Knowledge of aviation regulatory standards (e.g., CAAM, EASA, or FAA) is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment.
- Ability to perform shift work to accommodate training schedules and urgent maintenance requirements.
