We are currently seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Technician (Surface Repair) to support our engine overhaul and component repair operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the structural integrity and high-performance standards of aerospace components, contributing to the safety and reliability of commercial and military aviation.
As part of our surface repair unit, you will utilize precision techniques to restore engine parts to OEM specifications. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform precise surface repair operations on engine components according to technical manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections to identify surface defects, wear, or damage.
- Operate specialized machinery and equipment required for surface preparation, coating, and finishing.
- Maintain high standards of quality control to ensure all repairs meet strict aviation safety regulations.
- Document all repair processes and maintenance activities accurately in the internal digital management system.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex component issues and improve repair efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety (EHS) guidelines to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
Kualifikasi
- Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent certification in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Precision Engineering.
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in surface finishing, coating, or specialized mechanical repair.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematic blueprints.
- Solid understanding of material properties and surface treatment processes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a high-performance team.
- Flexibility to perform shift work as required by production schedules.
