As a Trade Compliance Executive at MR.DIY, you will act as the primary point of contact for all trade-related documentation. You will ensure that our merchandise enters and exits the country seamlessly while mitigating risks associated with non-compliance. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of import/export documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Classify products accurately under the Harmonized System (HS) Codes to ensure correct duty assessments.
- Monitor and interpret changes in trade regulations, tariffs, and Incoterms to ensure MR.DIY remains compliant.
- Liaise effectively with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and government agencies to resolve clearance issues.
- Conduct regular audits of trade files to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit necessary trade permits, licenses, and declarations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs, or Logistics within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Customs regulations (Customs Act 1967) and ASEAN trade agreements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and trade management software.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Malaysian citizenship is required for this position.
