GMP Group is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Trade Marketing Executive to join a leading organization on a contract basis. Based in the vibrant West Region, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive impactful trade marketing initiatives and act as a key bridge between the marketing and sales teams.

The Opportunity
As a Trade Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the consumer journey. Your mission is to develop and execute winning trade plans that enhance brand visibility, optimize promotional effectiveness, and ultimately drive sales growth. From managing Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials to coordinating with external vendors, you will ensure every retail touchpoint is compelling and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize, plan, and execute trade marketing activities across various retail channels in alignment with overall brand objectives and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify market trends, customer insights, and competitive activities to inform and optimize trade strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of promotional materials, including sourcing, budgeting, production, and distribution to ensure timely and flawless execution.
  • Conduct regular store checks and market surveys to monitor compliance, brand visibility, competitor activity, and the effectiveness of trade initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data and promotional performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners, including agencies, suppliers, and retail buyers.
  • Ensure all trade marketing activities are executed within budget and in strict adherence to company policies and legal guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 to 4 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, or a Sales Support role, ideally within the FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sector.
  • A strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the retail landscape and key account dynamics in Singapore.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • A self-starter attitude with high attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite or other design software is a plus, but not required.
