Tanggung Jawab
- Execute various welding techniques including SMAW, GTAW, MIG, and TIG based on technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Inspect and test welds for defects such as porosity, cracks, and improper penetration to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly following all site safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on welding machinery, cutting torches, and grinding equipment.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to assemble metal structures and components accurately and efficiently.
- Perform on-site welding repairs and modifications as required by project specifications.
- Monitor material usage and report any discrepancies in stock or equipment to the supervisor.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in industrial or structural welding.
- Certified Welder (AWS/SGS or equivalent) with valid trade licenses.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of metal properties, different welding rods, and heat treatment processes.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions, heights, and confined spaces.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting purposes.
